***Protected time for Learning***

The Practice is supported by NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board to provide and facilitate important training and learning events for GP's and practice staff to help them to keep up to date with relevant information and continue to deliver the service at the practice. 

The practice will be closed from 12 noon on Tuesday 16th June 2026.

When the practice is closed, there will be an On-Call GP service running. In cases of medically urgent problems, please phone the practice for instrcutions on how to contact the On-Call GP service. 

Please ensure you order/collect your medication in plenty of time.

Patient Participation Group

Did you know that we have an active Patient Participation Group at our Practice?

Members of the group meet every 2-3 months and play a key role for the Practice by helping to ensure that patients and carers can have their voices heard about their local healthcare services. They also advise the Practice from a patient perspective, providing an insight into responsiveness and quality of services.

Another key role of the Patient Participation Group is organising health promotion events. Last Summer you may have spoken to some of the group on our stall at the Ayton Gala, where they were encouraging everyone to be responsible for theirs and their family’s health by staying up to date with immunisations and NHS screening tests.

Are you planning to travel abroad and need advice regarding travel vaccinations?

If so, please ensure you leave plenty of time between contacting the Practice and your planned departure date as we are not able to offer travel vaccination appointments on a last minute basis.
