Important information regarding Ayton Surgery

Please note that the Surgery Car Park at West Ayton will be resurfaced preventing any access to the building or the medication collection point from Sunday 7th June until the evening of Monday 8th June 2026. Access to the car park will be closed off during that time and we cannot guarantee that pedestrian access will be available. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page or our website: www.ayton-snainton.co.uk for further updates.

Our sites at Snainton and Thornton Dale will be open to patients all day as will our telephone lines .

Patient Participation Group

Did you know that we have an active Patient Participation Group at our Practice?

Members of the group meet every 2-3 months and play a key role for the Practice by helping to ensure that patients and carers can have their voices heard about their local healthcare services. They also advise the Practice from a patient perspective, providing an insight into responsiveness and quality of services.

Another key role of the Patient Participation Group is organising health promotion events. Last Summer you may have spoken to some of the group on our stall at the Ayton Gala, where they were encouraging everyone to be responsible for theirs and their family’s health by staying up to date with immunisations and NHS screening tests.
