How to make an
Appointment
The surgery is open from
8.30am to 6.30pm on weekdays.
All surgeries are by
appointment only.
To see a Doctor telephone
863100 and you will be given the earliest convenient
appointment, usually the same day.
If you need a special appointment, for example a medical
report, coil fitting or minor surgery, please make it clear so
that more time can be given to you.
If you are too ill to attend
surgery, please ring before 10.00am if possible. If the call
is especially urgent please specify this and every effort will
be made to get a Doctor to you as soon as possible.
If you need a Doctor outside normal working
hours you should dial the Surgery number. The call will, in
most cases, initially be answered by
NHS Direct. If you need
to see a doctor you will usually be asked to attend the
Primary Care Centre at Scarborough Hospital run by Primecare.
You will be seen by either a doctor from a local practice or
by a doctor employed by Primecare specifically to do out of
hours duties. Home visits will only be offered in exceptional
circumstances.
